We love this projector! We project to our garage while we have a firepit going. The quality gets better as it gets dark, but it looks good while there is still a little sunlight. The project… Read it on AmazonThe Expert · June 25, 2026 · Verified
This projector exceeded my expectations by far! I've been using it on a white popcorn like ceiling with some texture and the picture is still extremely clear. I've tried it on a flat surface… Read it on AmazonUnnamedJoe · October 17, 2025 · Verified

Pick a flat, light-coloured wall, screen or ceiling in a room you can darken. Evening viewing gives the best picture.
Set the projector on a stable surface, aim it using the 180-degree stand and switch on with the remote.
Let auto focus and auto keystone sharpen and square the image. Place it as straight-on to the wall as you can for the sharpest result.
Join your Wi-Fi network (WiFi 6 if your router supports it) and sign in to your Google account to set up Google TV.
Install your streaming apps from Google Play. Pair a Bluetooth speaker if you want fuller sound.
Only for some buyers: we score it 3.0 out of 5. In a dark room the picture is decent.
Rated 3.3 out of 5 across 68 user ratings, with 43% giving it five stars and 27% one star.
Reliability is a real concern, with some units failing after little use. Reports of lag and buffering.
Clean the glass lens gently with a microfiber cloth.
Project onto a garage door or white sheet after dusk, and pair a Bluetooth speaker for sound that carries outside. The picture improves as it gets darker.

The OWNKNEW H6 makes projection easy: Google TV and voice control are built in, auto focus and keystone handle setup, and Bluetooth and HDMI cover audio and inputs. In a dark room the picture is decent. Lag and buffering complaints, mixed sound and units failing early are serious drawbacks, so buy it only where returns are straightforward.
Convenient and capable in the dark, with big question marks over long-term reliability. If you buy one, test it hard early; if you need a projector you can rely on for years, a more established brand is the safer bet.
